"Where Ya Goin" has a blues feel with a driving in you car rhythm. The distant trumpet opens the song for piano and guitar rhythms, a melodic blues lead and lyrics that challenge the listener to figure out where you are going, no matter where you've been.

I began writing music in my teens and wrote many, many songs over the years. Being in a Contemporary Gospel band, we performed and recorded many of those songs. When the band members went in different career directions, I continued to sing and write for a few more years as I cataloged the songs and put them away for safe keeping. Three years ago I opened the archives and began recording these songs again and released a cd "Winds Of Time" calling on some of the original members of the Gospel band as well as friends and family. Two of my sons and I recorded a Christmas cd "A Cowboy's Christmas" in 2013 which is all instrumental folk style traditional songs. It's been 20 years since I wrote a new song and "Where Ya Goin" is about seeking direction. I hope you enjoy this song and would visit our website to hear more of our music.
